Feeding herself

June mainly eats what she can feed herself. She'll take a few bites of yogurt or oatmeal from a spoon before she grabs it and starts flinging. Over the weekend she tried chicken noodles soup, disassembled, and loved it. Especially the noodles. She is very focused when eating. She puts the pieces she doesn't like (carrots, not-so-tasty-looking pieces) in her seat. Sometimes we just take her clothes off before she eats because clean-up is easier.

On the changing table

It's a struggle these days to change June's diaper and clothes. She prefers playing. She sucks on her two fingers to comfort herself, which doesn't make it easier to get things over her head and arms. But the crying is minimal. Here she is happy because she has Mama AND Dad helping.

Standing

June loves to stand and is pulling herself up on all the furniture, opening drawers, closing doors and getting into everything. Her favorite game is to stand at the coffee table and take all the toys off, put them on the floor and then back up on the table. Up and down and up and down.
